Proactive Personnel LTD are seeking a dedicated Machine Operative to join our clients manufacturing team on a rotational shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous manufacturing experience. Due to the location of the company site, you will need to hold a valid driving license & have your own vehicle. Location is in a rural area so public transport would not be a reliable source to travel consistently to work.
Location: ST8 Biddulph
Working Hours: Rotational Shifts, 6:00am till 2:00pm & 2:00pm till 10:00pm Monday to Thursday (With Early finishes on Fridays)
Requirements:
- Previous experience of operating machinery.
- Previous assembly experience.
- Previous experience of packaging large components.
- Ability to carry out manual tasks.
- Ability to interpret safety instructions.
- Training will be provided.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts - IS A MUST.
- Must be able to work well within a team & on your own.
- Previous experience working within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have good level of numeracy skills.
- Must have high attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines & under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Operating hydraulic power presses.
- Producing high volumes of compression moulded components within fast paced manufacturing environment.
- General assembly work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Working from manufacturing drawings.
- Working as part of a team to complete work in a timely & efficient manner.
- Maintaining high standards & regular housekeeping.
- Working as part of a busy production line.
- Reporting to the Production Supervisor.
- Completing all quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
- Using hand & power tools regularly.
