We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team based in Appleton Thorn.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established business, working on a fixed day shift with an early finish every Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and productivity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing production MIG welding on a variety of metal components
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required
  • Ensuring welds meet quality specifications and standards
  • Carrying out visual inspections of completed work
  • Working to production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
  • Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive
  • A weld test will be required as part of the recruitment process
