We are currently seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team, working with mild steel pipework ranging from inch to 2 inches. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, threading, and assembling pipe systems around large and heavy fabrications, based on detailed engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, thread, and assemble mild steel pipe (2") to specified measurements
- Work around large/heavy fabrications safely and effectively
- Interpret and work from technical and engineering drawings
- Build and install pipework systems to high standards of accuracy
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Collaborate with fabricators, welders, and engineers as needed
- Ensure work meets all quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter working with mild steel
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
- Skilled in pipe cutting and threading
- Comfortable working around large-scale fabrications
- Good attention to detail and precision
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
