My client who works within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Test & Validation Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.
Key Details:
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday 07:30 - 12:30
- Permanent contract
- Salary ranging up to £40,000
Duties and Experience:
- Working with the Engineering department to complete test & validation of systems and equipment, both on site and worldwide customer locations, and the development of control software.
- Commissioning of system and equipment including:
- System software commissioning & generation (Robot AS, PLC and Kepware Code)
- System fault finding and diagnostics
- Fault rectification
- Conducting system wide test and inspection
- Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs
- Conduct customer training
- Conduct system servicing
- Development of Robot and PLC software
- Modification of engineering drawings to support system and build and to improve quality
- Writing procedures and plans
