My client who works within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for the Assembly department to join their team.

  • Monday to Thursday 07:45 - 17:00 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30.
  • Permanent contract.
  • 33 Days Holiday.
  • Salary up to £39,000 + Overtime available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and managing a team of electrical fitters involved in the build of automated systems and equipment.
  • Planning daily workloads and providing clear direction to meet weekly production schedules.
  • Responding to technical electrical issues and challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Taking ownership of projects and tasks, seeing them through from build to completion.
  • Ensuring all electrical testing and inspection activities are completed and accurately recorded.
  • Reporting project progress to the Manufacturing Manager on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance, including PPE use and adherence to risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or responsible role within an electrical assembly/build environment.
  • HNC (or equivalent) qualification in an Electrical discipline.
