About the Role
On behalf of our client, a well-established property management company, we are currently recruiting for a proactive and organised Property Administrator. This is a temporary role for an initial 3-month period to cover a staff member on leave, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the property management team. You will be the first point of contact for residents reporting maintenance issues, so a confident telephone manner and excellent attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming telephone enquiries from residents across 65 residential blocks
- Verifying callers using appropriate data protection protocols
- Logging and triaging maintenance issues to the appropriate block manager
- Issuing basic maintenance work orders (e.g., rubbish removal, minor tasks)
- Creating documents using Microsoft Word and Excel, including Mail Merge
- Organising and maintaining electronic files and records using Windows File Explorer
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Mail Merge) and general document formatting
- Confidence working with Windows File Explorer and digital filing systems
- A polite and professional telephone manner
- A logical, common-sense approach to handling queries and following procedures
