We are currently looking to recruit for a number of HGV drivers for an ongoing contract in Wolverhampton.
Role Requirements of a HGV Driver:
- Weekday and Weekend shifts
- Class 1 - £15.50 - £17.93 Per Hour
- Class 2 - £13.50 to £15.69 Per Hour
- Weekends paid at a higher rate
- Various starts available between 5am and 8am
- Must hold a HGV driver entitlement with valid CPC and Tacho
- Ideally you would need to have no more than 6 points but endorsements such as DD/DR/IN cannot be considered due to insurance criteria.
- Must have at least 6 months work on license.
Role Responsibilities HGV Driver:
- Safely operate either a HGV vehicle doing general haulage work across the UK; this role is a varied one with local multidrops and long distance trunking style work, so no two shifts are the same.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
- Complete all required paperwork and digital logs accurately.
