About the Company: Our client is one of the largest OEM filter manufacturers, renowned for their commitment to quality and safety. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Quality Coordinator to join their team and ensure compliance with industry standards while fostering a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety
- Develop and review risk assessments annually
- Conduct COSHH assessments and maintain Safety Data Sheets
- Carry out monthly safety tours and workplace inspections
- Oversee emergency lighting checks, fire alarm testing (weekly), and fire drills (6-monthly)
- Manage manual handling assessments, racking inspections, and LOLER certifications
- Ensure compliance with LEV testing, asbestos checks, and Peninsula Health & Safety (Business Safe) regulations
- Maintain safety and maintenance documentation and training records
- Conduct and support ISO 9001 audits and maintain documentation
- Assist with ISO 14001 compliance and prepare for ISO 45001 certification
- Manage and update quality policy documents and quality control checks
- Oversee FSC compliance, carbon & QDT pellet sample testing, and spreadsheet management
- Handle quality rejects and resolve any product quality concerns
- Provide HR administrative support, including note-taking during meetings if required
About You:
- Experience in Health & Safety, Quality, or Compliance roles within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (or willingness to learn)
- Familiarity with risk assessments, COSHH, manual handling, and workplace safety regulations
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
