Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. For this role, we are able to consider experienced Graduate (B.Eng / M.Eng Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic degree qualification) or experienced Design Engineers. All levels of experience will be considered.
As a graduate, our client can offer a challenging, engaging environment where you will be encouraged to secure experience in a breadth of different disciplines in the design and commissioning of automated systems. For fully experienced Engineers, you will be working closely with customers to solve complex engineering challenges in a supportive and dynamic environment!
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Electrical design and development of automation systems
- Robot and control system programming and configuration
- Creation of technical documentation
- Working to product design standards
- Working to departmental design procedures
- Provide internal technical product support
For graduate engineers, all levels of experience are considered. For senior engineers, you must be fully qualified and be able to prove relevant experience in electrical design.
Substantial experience (3 - 5+ years) of designing Electrical Systems in an industrial setting is required, along with:
- Experience of designing electromechanical systems (e.g. Robotics, production automation etc.)
- Solid experience of working as part of a team on medium to large engineering projects
- Extensive experience of designing electrical panels for industrial systems
- CAD experience (preferably AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards (IEC61010, NPA79 etc.)
- A high degree of flexibility in a continuously changing environment
This is a permanent opportunity with an immediate start for the successful candidate. In return, and commensurate with experience, you can expect to earn £28,000 - £51,000 per annum.
