We are currently looking to recruit for a number of 7.5t Drivers for a temp to perm contract in Basingstoke.

Role requirements of a 7.5t driver:

  • Monday - Sunday work with a 5 on/3 off shift pattern - you will need to work some weekend shifts
  • Starts between 6-7am
  • Valid, in-date CPC and Tacho Card
  • £14.50 per hour - increased to £16.25 by including holiday within the rate
  • Newly passed drivers welcome to apply

Responsibilities of a 7.5t driver:

  • Safely operate and work as a 7.5t driver to transport goods direct to customers' homes - this can include high-end electricals and white goods
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • This role will involve handball
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
  • Working with a driver's mate
