We are currently looking for Class 2 drivers to join our client in the Blackpool area.

Duties:

  • Safely operate a HGV tipper to transport aggregates from designated locations back to the main depot.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, promoting a culture of safety at all times.
  • Assist with basic mechanical tasks when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge is an asset for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
