Proactive Personnel are currently looking for several Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Preston.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely loading and securing chilled and frozen goods on the vehicle.
  • Multi drop delivering to Schools round Lancashire.
  • Driving HGV2 goods vehicles.
  • Logging delivery information correctly.
  • Having a strong awareness of the UK highway code.
  • Keeping vigilant of correct delivery times.
  • Staying aware of any route diversions or updates to their delivery journey.
  • Some hand-balling will be required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have HGV Class 2 licence & Drivers CPC Card.
  • Newly passed drivers welcome!
  • A flexible and positive attitude to the job.
  • A polite and friendly manner while at delivery and collection destinations.
  • Always be punctual and reliable to start shifts.
  • A strong desire to learn and succeed is also essential as we only envisage expansion in this sector.
