We are currently looking for Class 1 Drivers to start work in Heysham, Lancashire.
Duties:
- Operate a lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Assist in the training of new drivers when necessary.
Pay is negotiable dependent on experience. Only day work is available. 06:00 starts Monday - Friday.
