We’re exclusively partnered with a leading technology organisation based in the Plymouth area, who are looking to onboard a QA Lead to support their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain QA processes across manual, regression, UAT, and automation testing.
- Evaluate, implement, and extend automation frameworks (Playwright preferred).
- Plan and execute testing for monthly releases, ensuring coverage of critical workflows.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Service to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Document defects, support root cause analysis, and verify fixes.
- Guide teams on QA best practices and contribute to a well-governed software development lifecycle.
Technical Skills
- Manual testing, regression planning, and UAT support.
- Automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
- Web and API testing.
- Defect identification, risk-based testing, and prioritisation.
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Familiarity with accessibility, performance, security, or API contract testing is a plus.
