We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Business Analyst with 10+ years of hands-on JD Edwards experience to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote role, focused on delivering end-to-end JDE solutions, providing Level 3 support, and driving process improvements for our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, test, and support standard and customised JDE solutions.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand, validate, and document requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on incidents and provide recommendations and knowledge articles.
  • Formalise and communicate software development requirements via the Change Control Process (CCP).
  • Support system and user acceptance testing and document results.
  • Translate business requirements into software and process solutions, leading design sessions and prototyping where needed.
  • Provide best practice recommendations to improve process, performance, and reliability.
  • Design and test new business processes, programs, and interfaces.
  • Conduct training for business personnel and perform impact analyses for process improvement initiatives.
  • Guide project teams from definition through rollout to meet objectives.
  • Lead or participate in continuous process improvement activities with business teams.
  • Manage workloads in a complex environment, prioritising effectively and communicating proactively.
  • Handle JDE Level 3 support tickets and assist junior BAs as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years JD Edwards experience, particularly in Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting & Advanced Cost Accounting).
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent practical finance system experience preferred.
  • Strong grounding in financial accounting principles, including period close, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audit support.
  • Experience with interfacing JDE with internal and external systems.
  • Familiarity with managing third-party vendors.
  • Proven project management experience, including project charters, plans, resource allocation, status reporting, and risk management.
  • Advanced SQL skills; experience with DB2/UDB or other platforms.
  • Data analysis, systems design, cost management, security, and implementation of new business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of independently resolving complex or sensitive issues.
  • Knowledge of JDE developer toolset, data visualisation tools (Hubble, Power BI, QlikView), or process improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus but not essential.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
