We are currently working with a forward-thinking client who is looking to hire a Junior Tester to join their collaborative technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for software quality and manual testing to work across a range of desktop and web-based applications. You will play a key role in ensuring software releases meet the highest standards, working closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts within an Agile environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing manual system, integration, and regression testing
  • Creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test documentation using Jira/X-Ray
  • Reviewing business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and potential issues
  • Logging, tracking, and managing defects through to resolution
  • Working closely with development teams to support high-quality software releases
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices
  • Testing and interacting with Oracle/SQL databases and web-based systems

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in manual software testing
  • Strong Oracle and SQL skills (essential)
  • Experience testing desktop applications and web-based systems
  • Familiarity with Jira and test management tools such as X-Ray
  • A strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively within an Agile team
