Our client is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their growing technology team and help deliver innovative digital solutions used by organisations across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern Agile environment, developing scalable web applications using a contemporary technology stack including React, Java, PostgreSQL and Microservices Architecture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining modern web-based applications
  • Building responsive, accessible user interfaces using React or similar JavaScript frameworks
  • Designing and developing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
  • Working with PostgreSQL and other SQL-based databases
  • Integrating third-party APIs and external services
  • Creating automated tests, unit tests and Postman test suites
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and estimation sessions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues raised by customers and internal teams
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and adoption of modern development practices

What We're Looking For

  • Commercial experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with React, Angular or similar front-end frameworks
  • Back-end development experience, ideally with Java
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices
  • Experience working with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design/prototyping tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for building high-quality, scalable software
