Our client is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their growing technology team and help deliver innovative digital solutions used by organisations across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern Agile environment, developing scalable web applications using a contemporary technology stack including React, Java, PostgreSQL and Microservices Architecture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining modern web-based applications
- Building responsive, accessible user interfaces using React or similar JavaScript frameworks
- Designing and developing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
- Working with PostgreSQL and other SQL-based databases
- Integrating third-party APIs and external services
- Creating automated tests, unit tests and Postman test suites
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and estimation sessions
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues raised by customers and internal teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement and adoption of modern development practices
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with React, Angular or similar front-end frameworks
- Back-end development experience, ideally with Java
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices
- Experience working with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design/prototyping tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
- Passion for building high-quality, scalable software
