We’re working with a client who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis. Hybrid working – 3 days on-site each week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a complex infrastructure estate and play a key role in driving a cloud-first transformation. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising existing on-prem environments while helping shape a modern, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure strategy.

Key experience required:
- 10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering / Senior Systems Administration
- Strong VMware Cloud Foundation & vSphere expertise
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure migration and cloud infrastructure experience
- Microsoft 365, Exchange Online & Entra ID knowledge
- Hybrid identity, SSO & conditional access experience
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP administration
- Cisco, Meraki & Ubiquiti networking experience
- Sophos firewall configuration and management
- Security tooling including Microsoft Sentinel & Defender for Endpoint
- Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Auvik or WhatsUp Gold
- Veeam backup, disaster recovery & business continuity expertise
- Storage migration experience from on-prem SAN to Azure storage
- Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Ideal background: Professional services environment experience (legal sector highly desirable).
