We’re working with a client who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working – 3 days on-site each week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a complex infrastructure estate and play a key role in driving a cloud-first transformation. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising existing on-prem environments while helping shape a modern, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure strategy.

Key experience required:

  • ~10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering / Senior Systems Administration
  • ~ Strong VMware Cloud Foundation & vSphere expertise
  • ~ Hands-on Microsoft Azure migration and cloud infrastructure experience
  • ~ Microsoft 365, Exchange Online & Entra ID knowledge
  • ~ Hybrid identity, SSO & conditional access experience
  • ~ Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP administration
  • ~ Cisco, Meraki & Ubiquiti networking experience
  • ~ Sophos firewall configuration and management
  • ~ Security tooling including Microsoft Sentinel & Defender for Endpoint
  • ~ Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Auvik or WhatsUp Gold
  • ~ Veeam backup, disaster recovery & business continuity expertise
  • ~ Storage migration experience from on-prem SAN to Azure storage
  • ~ Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

Ideal background: Professional services environment experience (legal sector highly desirable).
