Our client is urgently looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Please note, this is a hybrid role, with 6 days per month required in the office in London. You will support testing across an agile project within the suite of products or functional areas. The role involves analysing business requirements and technical changes to design and execute effective automated and exploratory tests, ensuring critical issues are identified and resolved before release.
You will collaborate closely with a number of tech teams to deliver high-quality applications supported by robust automated regression tests built in C# using a Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach. QA Engineer – Key Skills:
- Experience within Financial Services and Financial Technology
- Strong skills in C# or Java .Net automated testing frameworks using BDD tools, such as SpecFlow or Reqnroll
- REST APIs and UI testing – Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
- Able to write SQL queries
- Understanding around non-functional testing
- Thorough understanding of QA automation methodologies, agile practices and software testing principles
- Familiarity with AI tools – nice to have
- Knowledge of European Mutual Funds/Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) – nice to have
- Message formats such as XML, JSON, SFTP and Swift – nice to have
