Our client, a well-established name in the pensions sector, is looking for an experienced

Pensions Project Manager to join their Change team on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pensions change and project delivery , ideally with hands‑on experience implementing

Procentia Intelli Pen product or a similar pensions administration technology platform.

This is a key project within the organisation, and they are looking for someone who can take ownership of delivery, work effectively with stakeholders across the business, and ensure the implementation is delivered successfully from planning through to go-live.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of

Procentia Intelli Pen , from planning through to delivery and go-live.

  • Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
  • Work closely with internal teams, third‑party suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate business, technical and operational workstreams.
  • Manage requirements, testing, implementation and transition activities.
  • Provide clear project reporting and communicate progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate governance and project controls are maintained throughout the implementation.
  • Support business readiness and change management activities associated with the new platform.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven experience working as a

Project Manager within the pensions sector .

  • Experience delivering pensions administration or technology change projects .
  • Ideally, previous experience implementing

Procentia Intelli Pen .

  • Strong understanding of pensions administration processes and the wider pensions landscape.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and third‑party suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced change environment and taking ownership of delivery.

Location & contract

The preference is for candidates who can work

2 days per week from either London or a location in Yorkshire . However, our client is open to considering fully remote candidates for the right level of experience , particularly where there is strong Intelli Pen implementation experience.
