Our client based in the South West is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team on an initial 2-year fixed-term contract. The right candidate will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights to support evidence-based decision-making. Using tools like Power BI, they will develop dashboards, produce performance analytics, and collaborate with teams to understand data needs, while promoting best practices and a data-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Power BI Dashboards: Design, build, and continuously improve dashboards and reports to present critical performance and operational data in a clear and user-friendly format.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with service areas and stakeholders to understand strategic goals, define measurable KPIs, and align reporting outputs with organizational objectives.
- Translate Requirements into Reports: Gather and analyze reporting needs from stakeholders at various levels and translate them into insightful and interactive Power BI reports.
- Leverage Multiple Data Sources: Utilize data from diverse sources including Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Excel, and cloud-based platforms, ensuring accurate and consistent data integration using appropriate connectors.
