About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Print Service Engineer to join a leading company specialising in multifunction printers and managed print services, with a focus on long-life, eco-friendly components. In this role, you will provide technical field support across the Sheffield, Doncaster, and Barnsley patch, ensuring our clients receive first-class service and solutions for their printing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for printers.
- Investigate and resolve faults efficiently and effectively.
- Perform device installations, routine maintenance, and updates/modifications as required.
- Support installations and ensure smooth setup of printer equipment. You will not be expected to carry heavy equipment upstairs; all equipment will already have been delivered.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a field technical support role, ideally within the MFP/copier/print industry.
- City & Guilds or similar qualification, or equivalent competence level.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to resolving technical issues quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide first-class customer service.
- Candidates must be based in or near Sheffield, Doncaster, or Barnsley.
