Our client is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join their Group IT function based in Glasgow. This role is focused on business applications and plays a key part in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse requirements, support change initiatives, and ensure applications deliver real value. This is a hands-on role suited to someone analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse business requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Carry out fit-gap analysis, system analysis, and fault diagnosis
- Produce documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows
- Support projects using agile and structured methodologies (e.g. WRICEF)
- Configure applications, create and execute test plans, and validate solutions
- Provide application support, user guidance, and training
- Create knowledge articles and how-to documentation
- Act as an application owner or solution lead, supporting systems end to end
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar application-focused role
- Strong background in business and systems analysis and project support
- Confident using Microsoft tools including M365, Visio, and Project
- Experience with ITIL principles, data analysis, and process modelling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working onsite
