Urgently required to work for a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation based near Woking. This is a Trainee level role so no prior experience will be required, however key to this role will be a positive attitude, a want to learn, pick up new skills and progress within the business.

You will be working closely with the Production Engineering and Quality teams to assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings.

The role:

  • Assembly of mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings
  • Using equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
  • Testing and inspection of assemblies
  • Follow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD control
  • Ensure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principles
  • Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.
  • Full training provided on assembly, testing, ESD control and quality procedures
  • Opportunity to progress to Skilled Assembler, Test Technician or Production Technician roles.
