Are you practical, hands-on and eager to learn new technical skills? We are looking for a motivated Trainee Electro/Mechanical Assembler to join a busy production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn, with full training provided.
You will work as part of an experienced assembly team, developing skills in mechanical and electro/mechanical assembly, testing and quality control. This role offers excellent opportunities to progress your career within engineering and manufacturing.
The Role
- Assembling mechanical and electro/mechanical components using drawings, procedures and work instructions.
- Using hand tools, power tools, torque tools and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
- Carrying out testing and inspection of assemblies using procedures, jigs and fixtures.
- Supporting production targets while maintaining excellent quality standards.
- Following engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Working to company quality procedures, ISO standards and ESD controls.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting wider production activities when required.
- Learning new assembly, testing and technical skills through full training.
