We're currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a growing and friendly team in Towcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has great attention to detail and wants to be part of a supportive company with long-term opportunities.
The role involves working with a variety of production and assembly processes including fine soldering, crimping, wiring, testing and quality inspection. You'll be working with technical drawings, hand tools and specialist equipment as part of a busy production environment.
Key duties include:- Fine soldering and crimping work
- Testing and quality checking products
- Packing, labelling and stock control
- Reading technical drawings and work instructions
- Using hand tools and production equipment
- Recording serial numbers and production data
- Applying coatings and heat shrink
- General production and assembly tasks
- Good attention to detail
- Fine soldering experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm / on Friday from 8 am - 1 pm
