Working as part of a busy technical and operations team, you will be responsible for building, assembling, wiring, testing and maintaining advanced electro-mechanical systems and equipment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys practical problem solving, working from engineering specifications and playing a key role in ensuring products are built, tested and ready for use.
As an Electro Mechanical Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Building, assembling and configuring electro-mechanical systems, sub-assemblies and components in line with engineering specifications
- Carrying out wiring, soldering, crimping, cable assembly, mechanical fitting and light fabrication work
- Conducting bench testing, inspection, fault finding and system validation prior to release or operation
- Performing routine maintenance, repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
- Maintaining accurate build records, test documentation, maintenance logs and supporting continuous improvement across processes and equipment
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will need:
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, build, test, maintenance or repair work
- Confidence working with wiring, electronics, mechanical components, hand tools and technical drawings
- Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and system-level issues
- Good attention to detail, organisation and documentation skills
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-moving team
