This is a hands-on position responsible for preparing precision-engineered components and assembling them into system elements used in advanced hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble components using hand, power, and precision tools
  • Interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
  • Ensure all parts meet required quality standards; identify and report defects

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and 5S workplace standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support team activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, including work instructions and risk assessments

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills (hydraulics knowledge desirable)
  • Experience with hand, power, and precision tools
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in precision engineering or similar environment
  • Experience assembling high-value, low-volume components

Qualifications:

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent practical background (preferred)
