Surface Mount Operator (SMT) Urgently required for a leading electronics manufacturer based near Woking. You will work for an expanding business with a modern manufacturing facility producing high quality electronic products utilised in wide range of applications.
you will be focused on the operation of the PCB Assembly surface mount line. You will have a basic knowledge of electronic manufacturing systems and production processes, and be able to operate and maintain the surface mount line in conjunction with the development team to fault find and propose enhancements to production items or processes.
Key Responsibilities and experience:
Operation of SMT production line.
Performs/prepares SMT line prior to build.
Delivers production requirements by following instructions/processes.
Inspection of PCB\’s with AOI system during manufacture.
Able to diagnose machine faults and find solutions
Occasional use of conformal coating and selective soldering machines when required.
Electronics assembly inspection.
Experience in the use of ASM/Siemens Siplace equipment would be an advantage.
Experience in all general aspects of surface mount manufacturing processes is an essential requirement.
Experience in manufacturing to IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3 an advantage, not essential.
Good understanding of working in similar high technology environment.

Training in surface mount technology (SMT) operations

Motivation to ensure excellent quality standards
