Proactive are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely shipment.
- Manage inbound deliveries by checking quantities, inspecting products, and updating stock records.
- Store materials and products correctly to maximise warehouse efficiency and accessibility.
- Source competitive transport options and coordinate collections and deliveries with logistics providers.
- Produce shipping and delivery documentation, ensuring records are maintained accurately.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure products reach customers within agreed timescales.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure stock availability and delivery requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company health and safety standards.
Skills:
- Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
- Experience arranging transport, coordinating deliveries, or working with freight providers.
- Confident using computer systems for stock management and administration tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Good numerical skills and experience handling documentation.
- Valid forklift licence.
