Proactive are currently in search of a SMT Operator to start work for a market leading manufacturing company based in Stevenage. This is a permanent position and an exciting opportunity offering career progression and development.
Responsibilities:
- To work to SMT department working practices.
- Operate SMT paste printers.
- To check and load components, operate SMT machines.
- To operate SMT reflow ovens.
- To conduct visual inspection to ensure good quality product, working to IPC 610 standard.
- To hand fit components when required.
- Follow the Company's environmental policy, procedures and instructions to minimise environmental impacts from its activities.
- Adhere to AS/EN 9100 & ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures.
