We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organisation within the automated warehousing and logistics industry.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly automated distribution centre, maintaining and repairing machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Shift Pattern
- Early Shift: 02:00 - 10:00
- Day Shift: 05:00 - 13:00
- Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:00 / 11:00 - 19:00
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control system faults.
- Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
- Maintain automated warehouse equipment and conveyor systems.
- Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician or Multi-Skilled Engineer.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience within automated warehouses, FMCG, manufacturing or distribution environments would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
