Assembly Operator Required in Hounslow.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 4.30pm, Friday 7.00am to 3.15pm.

Start Date: Immediate starts available.

Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators to join our client's production team in Hounslow. This is a hands-on role involving the accurate assembly of mechanical components and products within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will have good practical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow assembly instructions and quality procedures. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred, although candidates with a good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical parts, components and products accurately and efficiently.
  • Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow assembly instructions, drawings and established production procedures.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications and standards.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or defects.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure tools, equipment and materials are used correctly and safely.
  • Support the wider production team with general manufacturing and assembly duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an assembly, production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Confident using hand tools and power tools.
  • Good practical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Able to follow instructions and work to established procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
  • Comfortable working with adhesives and tolerating the associated smell as part of the production process.
