Assembly Operators Required

Location: St Neots

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am-1:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a number of Assembly Operators to join a busy manufacturing company based in St Neots. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts and components to a high standard, carrying out quality checks, and working as part of a team to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assemble mechanical parts and components in accordance with specifications and instructions.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
  • Use hand tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Report any quality issues, defects, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to confidently use basic hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good manual dexterity and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour
