About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a number of Assembly Operators to join a busy manufacturing company based in St Neots. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts and components to a high standard, carrying out quality checks, and working as part of a team to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble mechanical parts and components in accordance with specifications and instructions.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
- Use hand tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Report any quality issues, defects, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to confidently use basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
