About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen with a top-tier, global manufacturer of high-precision testing systems. Following a recent high-profile acquisition of innovative technology, they are experiencing significant growth in their cutting-edge product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Build: Construct and assemble the specialized range of products in strict accordance with company build procedures and quality standards.
- Calibration Support: Assist with the calibration of completed products using specialized equipment, accurately recording serial numbers, production data, and test records.
- Inspection & Kitting: Perform incoming parts inspections to ensure quality control, and kit parts from production orders for sub-assemblies.
- Logistics & Packing: Pack finished products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring items are securely readied for on-time shipping.
- Systems & Admin: Utilize the company ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) to maintain accurate production files and ensure the workflow runs smoothly.
Requirements & Experience:
- Education/Qualifications: NVQ, HNC, HND, or an apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering (or a relevant technical discipline). Product assembly training in a stringent manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
