Assembly Operatives Required in Reading - Immediate Starts Available.
Our client in Reading is currently looking for a number of assembly operatives to join the business on a temp to perm basis, both AM and PM shifts available.
- AM Shifts: 6.00am-2.30pm Monday to Friday
- PM Shifts: 2.30pm-11.00pm Monday to Friday
Duties:
- Assemble and build products using a range of tools and workshop equipment
- Mechanical and electrical assembly
- Basic electrical wiring
- Safe handling of products in accordance with the company's Health & Safety procedures
- Ensure all equipment used in performing the above tasks is returned to its proper location and is used in a safe manner and in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines
- To ensure that the work area and adjacent gangways are kept tidy and free from obstruction
- To be aware of and comply with ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures where applicable
Required Experience:
- Be a self-starter that can work independently towards set targets and goals
- Previous assembly experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools
Additional Info:
- Hours: 6.00am-2.30pm Monday or 2.30pm-11.00pm Monday to Friday
- Rate: £13.00-14.50 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
