As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical and electronic circuitry to support the manufacturing and systems development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical designs for new equipment.
- Creation, modification, maintenance and management of electrical designs and system builds.
- Support the product development needs of the next generation of xenon flashlamp systems.
- Liaise with sub–contract suppliers of electrical systems.
- Support existing products in the field with technical support.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in power electronics.
- Experience in E–Plan – drawings, panel layout, BOM, cable schedules.
- Fault–finding of electrical and electronic circuitry.
- Willingness to travel for on–site customer support and training.
- Self–starters with an attention to detail and a drive for problem solving.
Desirable:
- Experience in PLC control system design.
- Experience in high voltage design.
- Experience in supervision of Electrical builds to design.
- Experience in managing rollout of designs with suppliers.
- Experience in commissioning systems (FAT & SAT).
