We are working with a highly established building services contractor looking to strengthen its busy Service & Maintenance team. We are interested in speaking with experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Service Engineers with a strong background in heating and mechanical building services. You’ll work across a varied portfolio of commercial and specialist sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and supporting customers with breakdowns, repairs and small works.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planned maintenance of commercial boilers and heating systems
- Mechanical and plumbing maintenance
- Reactive repairs, breakdowns and fault finding
- Maintenance of ventilation and associated mechanical systems
- Small works and installations
- Pipework and plumbing repairs
- Completing service and maintenance reports
- Working independently across customer sites
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota
What we’re looking for:
- Commercial Gas qualifications
- Gas Safe experience across commercial systems
- Strong experience with boilers and heating systems
- Previous service and maintenance experience
- Good mechanical fault-finding ability
- Experience within commercial building services
- Full UK driving licence
Experience or qualifications within OFTEC, unvented systems, BMS/controls or electrical systems would also be advantageous. We’re looking for someone technically strong, reliable and comfortable working independently while providing a high standard of service to customers.
