This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business working on critical electrical power systems across sectors including Defence and Infrastructure. We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer with strong electrical fault-finding experience to support testing, commissioning and maintenance activities both in the workshop and occasionally on customer sites.
The Role:
- Testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems
- Fault finding on AC/DC systems
- Supporting basic software diagnostics
- Reading schematics and following test procedures
- Workshop-based with occasional site visits
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical engineering background
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and attention to detail
- UPS or critical power experience would be advantageous
Additional Information:
- 4.5 day working week
- Occasional travel and rare overnight stays required
- Relevant electrical qualifications preferred
