A prestigious international engineering company specializing in automated material handling systems is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their dynamic team at Heathrow. This client–facing role offers exceptional career development potential.
THE ROLE:
- Design mechanical systems for large–scale automation projects
- Create detailed layouts for manufacturing and installation
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with customers and other engineering disciplines
- Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Manage third–party equipment integration
THE CANDIDATE:
- Degree/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in automated material handling systems
- Strong 2D & 3D AutoCAD skills (Navisworks/Revit/BIM advantageous)
- Knowledge of building interfaces and structural elements
- Understanding of Machinery Safety Standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willing to travel occasionally (UK and abroad)
