Mechanical Design Engineer £We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design and development of machinery, creating innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. Develop mechanical designs using SolidWorks and create sales layout drawings in SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Produce mechanical bills of materials (BOMs) and detailed 2D drawings for parts, assemblies, and fabrication. Design machinery in line with customer specifications, including pneumatic schematics. Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to ensure optimal mechanical solutions. Identify potential product improvements and support their implementation. Create machine manuals and technical documentation, and provide shop floor support during construction.Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am-1:00pmRequirements: Proven experience in mechanical design of machinery Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential) and AutoCAD (desirable) Send the updated CV to Luana Ferreira on (url removed) or call her on (phone number removed).
