Mechanical Design Engineer

This organisation is seeking a forward-thinking Design Engineer to join their high-performing team, delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring a team of mechanical and electronic engineers
• Managing multiple design projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Creating detailed designs using SolidWorks
• Conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and validation of new and existing designs
• Collaborating with production, software, quality, and aftersales teams to ensure seamless integration
• Staying current with industry standards and ensuring compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting progress to senior stakeholders

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years experience within mechanical design
• Proven experience in bespoke machine design and project delivery
• Exposure to injection mould and tool desng
• Experience using Solidworks
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Additional Info:

• Rate: 35.00-40.00 per hour
• Predominately office based / 1-2 days from home
• Start Date: ASAP
