The role involves hands-on mechanical assembly work, using both electric and pneumatic hand tools. You will work from engineering drawings to assemble components into finished products, with full training available for candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical components and products from engineering drawings Use hand tools (electric and pneumatic) safely and effectively Inspect moulded products for defects and irregularities Maintain and utilise all assembly equipment provided Accurately assess product quality and meet operational targets Follow written and verbal work instructions Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Participate in continuous improvement and waste management activities Work in a safe, methodical, and team-focused manner ⸻ Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in mechanical or assembly-based roles preferred Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience using hand tools Understanding of methodical, repetitive assembly processes Good attention to detail and quality awareness Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and handling components safely Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team Eligible to work in the UK ⸻ How to Apply: If you\’re interested, please reply to this email with your updated CV or contact me directly on (phone number removed). ⸻ Why Work With Proactive?
