Senior Controls Engineer\\n\\nSouth West London\\n\\nUp to £65K per annum\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nA leading UK manufacturing business is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer with a strong controls engineering background and a clear aspiration to move into leadership.\\n\\nThis role is ideal for an experienced Controls Engineer who is ready to take the next step into management, while remaining technically influential. You will lead maintenance and controls activities across the site, driving equipment reliability, automation strategy, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\\n\\nYou will work closely with the Engineering Manager to develop both the engineering team and the long-term technical strategy for the site.\\n\\nContract: Permanent\\n\\nShift: Monday – Friday (Days)\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nLead controls and maintenance engineering activities across the site\\nOwn and develop the site's controls and automation strategy\\nSupport preventative and corrective maintenance programmes\\nEnsure high levels of equipment reliability and machine performance\\nLead, coach, and develop engineering teams\\nDrive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives\\nEnsure compliance with safety and engineering standards\\n\\nKey Requirements\\n\\nRelevant electrical and/or controls engineering qualification\\nStrong background as a Controls Engineer with leadership aspirations\\nEngineering experience within a manufacturing environment\\nExperience in fast-paced manufacturing is desirable, but flexibility exists for the right candidate\\nControls systems experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley is ideal, but candidates from other control platforms are welcome\\nStrong focus on equipment reliability, fault-finding, and RCA\\nAbility to influence, mentor, and develop others\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nCompetitive pension scheme with employer contributions\\nDigital health and wellbeing support\\nEnhanced parental leave\\nCycle to Work schemeInterested or know someone suitable?
