Proactive are urgently recruiting for a Rework Technician to join our client in Uxbridge, UB8.
Role: Rework Technician
Location: Uxbridge (UB8)
Pay Rate:
£14- £15 per hour PAYE or Holiday paid £15.69- £16.81
Umbrella rates £18- £19 per hour
PURPOSE OF JOB
Modification, rework and upgrade of PCB assemblies to IPC 610 Class 3 standard.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years' experience in PCB production
- Hand soldering IPC 610 Class 3 trained
- Use of fine tools and microscopes
- Computer literate
PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT components down to 0201 and 01005 dimensions.
- Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT and thru-hole IC packages and connectors including DIL, uBGA, BGAs PGAs, QFPs
- Build product according to customer specifications and requirements
- Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
- Follow company procedures and work instructions at all times.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations
- Adhere to the Company IT and Data policy
- Comply with the statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements
- Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business
- Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained
