Urgently required for a specialist manufacturing business based in Lancing. We are looking for a keen enthusiastic Graduate level design engineer to work as part of a multi-functioning design and production team. This is a key position for the business where we have seen a number of graduates develop and progress their career forward within the business.
This is not just a design role; we are working with a small team of people where everyone mucks in and supports the business requirements, anything from basic design, supporting production, answering the phones and dealing with customers.
This is an office-based role at our Lancing location (not home working). An aptitude for engineering and meticulous attention to detail, together with a self-motivated, hard work ethic and time management skills, are essential to succeed in this role.
Experience in the use of Adobe suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop would be ideal. Experience in CAD and an interest in engineering would be beneficial. Using Relux/Dialux programmes to produce calculations (experience is not essential as training will be provided). Efficiency, work ethic and time management skills are essential.
Ideally A level qualification/equivalent or graduate.
The role will include other office-related activities such as:
- Answering the telephone.
- Liaising with clients.
- Using Sage to produce quotations.
This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression with a fast-growing company. Working hours are 8.00am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri but these can be flexible if required.
