Urgently required to work for a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation based near Woking. This is a Trainee level role so no prior experience will be required, however key to this role will be a positive attitude, a want to learn, pick up new skills and progress within the business.
You will be working closely with the Production Engineering and Quality teams to assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings.
The role:
- Assembly of mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings
- Using equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
- Testing and inspection of assemblies
- Follow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD control
- Ensure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principles
- Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.
- Full training provided on assembly, testing, ESD control and quality procedures
- Opportunity to progress to Skilled Assembler, Test Technician or Production Technician roles.
