We are seeking experienced Contract Maintenance Engineers to join a manufacturing facility located on the East London / Essex border. These are long-term contract opportunities for engineers with a proven background maintaining machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

There are currently two positions available with different shift patterns.

  • Position 1
    Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off
    Rate: £40 per hour
  • Position 2
    Shift Pattern: Rotating Monday to Friday Shifts
    6:00am - 2:00pm
    2:00pm - 10:00pm
    10:00pm - 6:00am
    Rate: £40 per hour

Key Duties

  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance

Requirements

  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience maintaining production or factory machinery
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Multi-skilled engineers are preferred
