Are you looking for a permanent role with a well-established manufacturing company that offers excellent training, career progression and an early finish every Friday? We're recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy and supportive manufacturing team in Hatfield (AL9). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in production, assembly or warehouse operations who is looking to build a long-term career.
What You'll Be Doing
- General assembly and basic wiring
- Picking, packing and preparing products for dispatch
- Reeling, cutting and palletising materials
- Checking picking lists and printing labels
- Using an ERP/inventory system to manage stock
- Reading basic engineering drawings and work instructions
- Supporting production targets while maintaining high quality standards
- Working collaboratively with the wider production team
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or warehouse environments
- Picking, packing or stock control experience
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Ability to read picking lists and identify parts accurately
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems or engineering drawings is advantageous but not essential
What's On Offer
- Permanent position
- Salary of £25,000-£27,500
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am-12:30pm (early finish every week)
- Full training provided
